Brisbane Region includes the local government areas of City of Moreton Bay, the Brisbane City Council, and Redland City Council. It operates with 22 groups and is staffed by about 1500 volunteers and 17 staff.

Central Region stretches from the Whitsunday Islands to Agnes Water, encompassing tropical islands and the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. Moving inland the region takes in the mining areas of the Bowen and Galilee Basins and the agricultural and pastoral districts west to Haddon Corner at the South Australian border. Major centres in the region include Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald and Longreach. 

It consists of 14 Units comprising of 66 Groups and over 1200 active volunteers supported by 26 staff spread across offices in Rockhampton, Mackay and Longreach.
