Join us in celebrating 50-years of dedicated service by the Queensland State Emergency Service (SES) at the SES 50th Anniversary Parade and community showcase. Established on 11 December 1975, the Queensland SES has been a cornerstone of Queensland’s disaster management and community resilience efforts. This milestone event will honour the incredible contributions of SES members, past and present, and highlight the vital role they play in keeping Queenslanders safe.
The celebrations will culminate in a vibrant parade through Brisbane’s CBD, followed by a community showcase in King George Square. The event will feature SES vehicles, interactive displays and activities for the whole family, offering a unique opportunity to learn more about the Queensland SES and its partner organisations. Don’t miss this chance to show your support and appreciation for the Queensland SES and their five decades or service.
